On 15 March 1946 the Zbrojovka Brno factory held a small celebration - on that day the first three Z 25 tractors were delivered to customers. Exactly five months later Zetor received a trademark to protect the brand. And how was the name itself born? Like all congenial things, easily and simply: as the transcript of the letter "Z", used in the logo of the Brno Zbrojovka engineering plant where the first tractors were made, combined with the last two letters of the word "tractor". The tractor was introduced to the public at an agricultural exhibition in Prague in the same year.
