In-house research and development

In the year 1954 the research and development base at Zetor was established, using the knowledge and experience of engineers of Zbrojovka Brno. Their first result was the Zetor Super 35 – a tractor with a four-cylinder diesel engine with the power of 42 hp (31 kW). Two new elements – a central axle with blade springs and a sprung driver’s seat - increased user comfort. The driver ´s cab was equipped with heating. In the years 1955 – 1960 21,500 tractors of this type were produced.
