UR III – return to higher power

In the early nineties the absence of tractors in the medium power range was resolved. In 1991 models of the new series UR III, namely the 7520/40, 8520/40 Turbo and 9520/40 Turbo were developed. In the mid-nineties a full-fledged replacement of the Crystal eventually appeared, represented by the models 10540 with 105 hp (77 kW) power and the 11540 with 115 hp (85 kW). The UR III substantially differed from the UR I, equipped with more powerful engines, a transmission with power shift, rear axles for heavy loads and modern massive cabs with a wide field of vision.
